ASCB MAC 11th Annual Junior Faculty and Postdoctoral Fellows Career Development Workshop


The American Society for Cell Biology Minorities Affairs Committee (MAC) is hosting the ASCB MAC 11th Annual Junior Faculty and Postdoctoral Fellows Career Development Workshop.

The workshop is taking place July 16 @ 8:00 am - July 18 @ 5:00 pm at the University of North Carolina Rizzo Conference Center in Chapel Hill, NC.

The workshop is for junior faculty and postdoctoral fellows who are interested in academic careers at research-intensive or teaching institutions. A limited number of travel awards are available for members of underrepresented groups in the sciences, members of disadvantaged populations, and faculty (regardless of ethnicity) at minority-serving institutions. The workshop will cover areas including: Professional Conduct, Tenure, Grantsmanship, Mentorship, Leadership, Collaborations, Time Management, Writing, and Lab Setup/Management.
